Heartsaver CPR AED

Heartsaver CPR AED Courses are designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory (for example, OSHA), or other requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. 

This Cousre will teach you adult and child CPR and AED (Automated external defibrillator) use, infant CPR, and how to relieve chocking in adults, children, and infants. Students receive an American Heart Association completion card that is valid for 2 years.

Course Content includes:

  • How high-quality CPR improves survival
  • The Chain of Survival
  • Recognizing when someone needs CPR
  • High-quality CPR for an adult, child, and infant 
  • How to perform CPR with help from others
  • Effective breaths using mouth-to-mouth or a mask for all age groups
  • How to use an AED on an adult and child 
  • When and how to help a choking adult, child, and infant 

Infant and Child portion is optional. Class time runs 3-4 hours. 

Cost of $55 per student includes all training material and 2 year certification from the American Heart Association. This cost does not include the American Heart Association student manual. Students may purchase a manual from American Heart Association
